Double Booking Disaster! Airbnb Cancels New After Host Delays Cancellation
I made a reservation through Airbnb, but the host kept delaying the cancellation for weeks, ultimately forcing us to cancel without officially doing so. We ended up booking elsewhere and reported the situation to Airbnb. However, Airbnb mistakenly cancelled our new reservation and left us stranded. Not only did they fail to resolve the issue, but they also didn't process any refunds. It's frustrating that despite paying high commission fees, we're left to deal with all the problems ourselves. Airbnb seems incapable of anything beyond inconveniencing its customers. I urgently demand a refund for both of our reservations.
