Airbnb Payment Delay. Why Haven't I Received My Rental Income?
I've been renting out my summer house on Airbnb for a long time. A guest checked in on June 15th, and Airbnb notified me on June 16th that the payment had been made. However, it's been three days, and I still haven't received the payment in my account. My bank confirms there is no pending transfer. The guest is about to check out, and I'm still waiting for the payment.
The support team kept me on hold for 20 minutes and couldn't provide a transaction receipt. Without a transaction number, my bank can't trace the payment. In previous bookings, the money was always in my account within 24 hours. Even if there's a delay, Airbnb should provide a bank transaction number for SWIFT payments.
Airbnb gives me a payment ID from their system, which the bank can't use to track anything. If Airbnb has made the payment, they need to provide the bank transaction number; otherwise, I can't trace it.
