As a super host with a 4.95 score in 79 reviews, my vacuum cleaner was stolen from my home, and despite filing a compensation claim, my account was deactivated. This alarming incident, compounded by the delay in realizing the theft and the subsequent double claim, leaves me questioning Airbnb's policies. Consider the risks before hosting – Airbnb may not cover stolen or damaged items and could deactivate your account, as they did mine.
