Airbnb AirCover Failed to Compensate Damages Caused by Guest, No Support Provided
I'm an Airbnb host, and I'm writing to share a serious issue I've faced. A guest who booked my property caused significant damage, but despite this, Airbnb's AirCover program has not provided a satisfactory solution.
I've reached out to customer service multiple times, providing all the details about the damages and extra service charges caused by the guest. However, Airbnb has repeatedly closed my complaint file or given irrelevant responses. Days, even weeks, have passed, and still, no resolution has been offered. I've noticed that other hosts have faced similar issues as well.
Airbnb continues to mark my support requests as "under review" and then closes them without any real solution. It's unacceptable for such a large platform to neglect a straightforward issue that should be resolved promptly.
While Airbnb claims that AirCover will cover damages caused by guests, in reality, it offers no true security. I've suffered financial losses, and my booking income has been disrupted because of this problem, yet the protection program Airbnb promotes isn't functioning in practice. I'm truly shocked by this experience. I will pursue legal action and do everything I can to spread awareness of this injustice across all platforms.
They officially closed my account because I sought my rights. I requested a different consultant to investigate the matter, but not only did this not happen, the consultant in question also closed my Airbnb account. Their practices are inhumane.
