Airbnb Host Insulted Me After I Left a 4-Star Review

From the 15th to 17th, I rented a room through Airbnb from a host named Barçın. From the moment we entered, the air conditioning was malfunctioning, but we decided not to complain during our stay so as not to disrupt our trip. After checking out, I submitted my review through Airbnb’s “Rate Your Stay” section, giving the property 4 stars.

Following this, the host began sending me offensive and insulting messages, specifically targeting my country and nationality. This was extremely upsetting and unacceptable behavior from someone hosting on a global platform like Airbnb. A guest should never be subjected to such personal harassment for simply leaving honest feedback.

I attempted to contact Airbnb customer service, but I have yet to receive any response or support. This lack of action has only increased my frustration and made me feel unsafe about using the platform again.

I demand that Airbnb remove this host from the platform immediately. No customer should be exposed to racist or offensive behavior after a legitimate stay and review.
