I booked a property through Airbnb.com.tr, but the host’s behavior made the experience unbearable. As the New Year’s holiday approached, the host claimed the price was double what was initially listed and began harassing me with calls and messages, asking me to cancel the reservation. Despite my confirmed booking, they also said there was no availability for that night.
This kind of unprofessional conduct is unacceptable. No guest should have to deal with last-minute cancellations or price manipulation, especially during a peak travel season.
I urge Airbnb to address this issue and ensure hosts are held accountable for such behavior. Guests deserve a reliable and stress-free booking process, not this level of frustration.
