Airbnb Charged My Card Three Times While I Was Entering Payment Info

On June 9, 2026, at around 10:00 AM, while entering my credit card details to make a reservation on Airbnb, three consecutive charges were made to my account in quick succession. The total amount taken was approximately $3, yet no reservation was created and I never received a confirmation email.
The moment I realized what was happening, I called Yapı Kredi Bank and had my card immediately canceled, which stopped any further charges from going through. Because I had the card canceled, I am currently unable to see the transaction reference numbers. This experience has left me deeply unsettled both from a security standpoint and in terms of trust in the platform.
I tried to contact Airbnb to request a refund for these unauthorized charges, but was unable to reach anyone and could not find a clear communication channel. I am therefore requesting that the full amount taken from my card be refunded, and that the necessary measures be put in place to prevent other customers from going through the same experience.
