I Face Flight Delay and Missing Services with Air Arabia on Sharjah–Bangkok Route
On June 22, 2025, I traveled with Air Arabia under PNR 621710283, departing from Istanbul to Sharjah, with a connecting flight to Bangkok. Upon arriving in Sharjah, we were informed that our connecting flight had been canceled due to the Israel–Iran conflict. When we requested accommodation, we were told we could only stay in a remote location with 15–20 other passengers, which raised serious safety concerns. My travel companion, A*** B**** A*****, was also denied the option to stay in the same place with me.
We were instead offered access to a lounge, but it was freezing and uncomfortable—completely unsuitable for overnight rest. After a sleepless and stressful night, our flight finally departed with an 8 hour and 45-minute delay.
This delay caused us to lose our hotel reservation in Bangkok, forcing us to pay again for the same night. Additionally, I missed an important theater meeting, which impacted my professional commitments. To make matters worse, the in-flight meals we had pre-paid for were not provided on the rescheduled flight. The cabin crew couldn’t find them in the system and didn’t offer any solution.
Despite multiple follow-ups via email and live support, I have not received any response.
For our return flight from Phuket to Sharjah to Istanbul on July 16, 2025, I demand that our pre-paid meals be confirmed and guaranteed in the system. I also expect full compensation for the financial and emotional distress we experienced and the refund of all services we paid for but did not receive. A formal explanation and apology are long overdue.
