I Face 8-Hour Delay and Missing Prepaid Meals with Air Arabia on Sharjah–Bangkok Flight

On June 22, 2025, I was booked on Air Arabia flight PNR 621710283 from Istanbul to Sharjah with a connecting flight to Bangkok. Upon landing in Sharjah, we were informed that the Bangkok flight was canceled due to the Israel–Iran conflict. When we requested accommodation, we were told we couldn’t leave the airport and would have to sleep in a crowded space with 15–20 other passengers. That was not a safe or acceptable option.
I, Ayşe Begüm A*****, and my travel companion ended up sleeping on the airport floor—cold, uncomfortable, and completely exhausted. After waiting for hours in distress, the flight finally departed with an 8 hour and 45-minute delay.
This delay cost us our prepaid hotel booking in Bangkok, and we missed a critical business meeting. It seriously disrupted our professional schedule. On top of that, the meals we had already paid for were missing from the system on the new flight. The cabin crew said they couldn’t verify them and provided no alternative.
Despite reaching out via email and live support multiple times, we still haven’t received any response. For our return flight on July 16 from Phuket to Sharjah to Istanbul, we urgently request that our prepaid meals be properly assigned to our booking.
Air Arabia has offered no information, no apology, and no real support throughout this ordeal. We demand full compensation for the financial and emotional damages, as well as immediate fulfillment of all services we paid for.
