Adidas Is Disregarding the Law by Refusing to Exchange the Predator Cleats
A year ago, I encountered an issue with the Adidas Predator cleats I purchased. The store at Denizli Forum Çamlık AVM sent them back to the company, and a decision was made to replace the product with a new one. However, when I visited the store, they informed me that there was no replacement available at the initial price of 1679 TL, and I would have to pay an additional amount to get a new pair. Why should I be obligated to pay extra when the product is faulty, and the decision is for a replacement? I insisted on getting the same product without any extra charges. They mentioned the option of going to the Consumer Arbitration Board if I disagreed. Due to the urgency and not wanting the initial 1679 TL to go to waste, I reluctantly paid an extra 1120 TL to acquire a new pair of cleats. I am now demanding a refund of the 1120 TL or an alternative product of equal value from Adidas. I intend to escalate this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board. It's disheartening to experience dissatisfaction even when shopping from reputable and well-known brands, yet here I am, once again, feeling like a victim of the system.
