Hello, in July 2022, I purchased the FW2588-coded Advantage series shoes. However, after only a few uses, the shoe's inner lining began to tear and pill. When I took the product to the Adidas store in the Mall of Istanbul for inspection, they said it was a 'user error' and that they couldn't help. As a result, on March 13, 2023, I filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board. The case was resolved on October 31, 2023, with the conclusion that the product was flawed, not due to user error, and that a replacement was required. When I returned to the Adidas store, I was told that the Advantage series was out of date and that the product had been discontinued, making assistance impossible. According to the Arbitration Board's report, I requested that my distress be resolved. They offered a replacement at the 2022 price, but I pointed out that the current value, given the exchange rate, rendered it useless. I asked for help based on the current store price. Unfortunately, they chose to ignore my plea and refused to assist. I went to the store in Cevahir Mall, but the responsible party was unable to assist me. When I contacted the Consumer Arbitration Board, they stated that a replacement was required and that Adidas should have secured the shoes; I shouldn't have to go searching for them. They insisted on providing it, even if only through their mobile app, because the product isn't completely unavailable. This isn't my first purchase from this company, and I've never had such a problem before. I just need a new pair of shoes. If the same model is not available, I ask for compensation based on the current exchange rate or the provision of a new model. If this request is not met, I will seek redress through the legal system. I hope your company stands behind its products and alleviates my concern.
