Adidas Fails to Honor Warranty For Defective Shoes

On October 20, 2022, I bought a pair of shoes for my son at the Adidas store in Westpark, Izmir. At that time, the staff told me that the store's products come with a warranty of two years. I bought it because I believed what they said. But after 7-8 months, the sole of one of the shoes began to come apart. When I called Adidas's customer service, they told me to send the shoes back to the store where I bought them. The problem is that I live in Kutahya, and their center doesn't accept packages. Should I really go all the way to Izmir for this? They said I could send it through one of their corporate stores, but those stores are only in Istanbul and Ankara. How can this be so useless in the modern world? I should be able to send it by courier as long as I have the right paperwork. It looks like their guarantee is just words on a page.
