On January 20, 2026, I purchased the “Soft-Touch Ribbed Straight-Leg Modal Pants” in size XS from the Oysho store on Trendyol for approximately $57. I wore the pants only once, yet by the end of the very first day, noticeable pilling had developed around the hem area, and the fabric had started coming apart in the seat section.

I used the product under completely normal conditions and followed standard care practices. For that reason, I was extremely disappointed to see such significant wear and damage after only a single use. A garment in this price range should maintain its appearance and structural integrity for much longer than one day of regular wear.

Believing that this level of deterioration indicated a product quality issue, I submitted a return request through Trendyol. However, my request was denied solely because the standard return period had expired. While I understand the platform’s return policy, I do not believe the problem is related to normal use or customer error. Instead, I believe the premature pilling and seam deterioration are the result of poor material quality or a manufacturing defect.

I respectfully request that the product be reviewed and evaluated as a potentially defective item. To resolve the inconvenience I have experienced, I would appreciate either a full refund or a replacement product. I also ask that the garment be inspected to determine whether the damage is consistent with a quality-related defect rather than ordinary wear and tear.
