Acer Nitro V 15 Performance Issues – Stuttering and FPS Drops During Gaming

September 13, 2024 4:07 PM292

I recently purchased an Acer Nitro V 15 (ANV15-51 NHQNBEY00533414E347600) laptop, expecting high performance given its impressive hardware. However, I’ve encountered severe performance issues, especially while gaming. Despite the powerful specs, games do not run smoothly. Although I achieve high FPS, there’s noticeable stuttering and frame drops that disrupt gameplay, making it far from the fluid experience I anticipated.

Here are the main specs of my laptop:

OS: Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.22631 (also tried on Windows 10)
CPU: 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 476.9GB SSD
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6141MB GDDR6
Display: 1920x1080 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate
Steps I’ve tried:

Used an external monitor – no improvement.
Attempted FPS locking and adjustments – stuttering persisted.
Clean install by formatting the laptop.
Updated all NVIDIA and Windows drivers.
Tested with various games and settings (low, medium, high) – no fix.
BIOS update and NitroSense app installed from Acer’s website.
None of these steps resolved the issue. This laptop, with such strong specs, should not struggle with these performance issues. The experience has been disappointing, as I’m not receiving the expected performance, especially for gaming.

I request immediate assistance to resolve this issue. If left unresolved, I intend to pursue my rights through the Consumer Arbitration Committee.

Acer Nitro 5 RTX3050 Freezing and Blue Screen Issues

September 19, 2024 6:31 PM212

"I am sharing the situation as of today, November 11. Vatan says that they do not have the model in stock, but they have a display product available. They say they can give it to me if I accept it. I did not accept it as a return or a display product. As my legal right, I requested an exact replacement, and if it's not in stock, an upgrade to a higher model. We communicated this to Vatan Computer via email. The manufacturer, Acer, did not accept this. The authorized service gives a legal decision for replacement in the RMA report, yet Acer does not accept it. When I emailed the authorized place, they told me to discuss it with your seller, the importer Index company. In other words, they are all avoiding responsibility and stalling through each other. Since these issues were not resolved, I have applied to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the Consumer Court today. I believe that the court will decide for an exact replacement. From now on, the court will be the party to deal with, and I will provide updates as the situation develops."
