Zip Virtual Card Expired During Hotel Stay

I booked a hotel on Expedia on May 10th, used my Zip virtual card for it, the virtual card was supposed to last 14 days, which was perfect for my stay, on May 25th, it expired! The hotel couldn't process the payment, and there I was scrambling... super stressful. Ended up having to use my own credit card to save the day, the Zip app says it's best to use a regular card for hotels and then pay with it later. I use it to manage my budget and spread out payments, and using my own card defeats the whole purpose! there wasn't even a heads-up about the card expiring! A little warning would have been nice. for longer hotel stays, Zip needs a better solution. Maybe the virtual cards could last longer, or they could have an easy way to renew them. This would totally prevent future headaches!
