Booking.com Canceled My Xperience St. George Sharm Hotel Reservation Last Minute
I booked a stay at the Xperience St. George Sharm Hotel months in advance through Booking.com, choosing the "Pay at the Hotel" option. However, just three days before my check-in, my reservation was suddenly canceled. The reason? A card error. I contacted my bank, and there was absolutely no issue with my card. I even tried three different cards, but none of them worked. Eventually, the reservation was canceled entirely. To make matters worse, the hotel was fully booked, and I had no choice but to book a more expensive hotel despite my limited budget. Booking.com has not responded to my messages, and the hotel had previously shown as confirmed. If there had been an issue, I would have expected to be notified much earlier, not three days before my stay. I am now left frustrated and out of pocket.
