Let me start by saying this is the fourth time I’ve faced the exact same issue with Otelz.com. On March 22, 2025, I booked a hotel via Otelz.com for a 1-night stay, paying with ZCüzdan. At 12:46 PM, just over an hour before check-in, the hotel called me. As soon as the phone rang, I already knew why—they told me again that Otelz.com had not paid them, so they couldn’t accept my reservation unless I canceled and paid directly by cash or card.
I booked through Otelz.com specifically because I wanted to use the funds in my ZCüzdan, which cannot be refunded to my card. I asked the hotel to give me a bit of time before canceling and called Otelz.com. I spoke with a rep named M*, explained everything, and he said he’d contact the hotel and call me back in 15 minutes. I waited… no one called.
I called back again, explained everything to another rep, who also promised to follow up. No one got back to me. I called over 20 times, and every time, the call either dropped after hold music or was abruptly ended. I even tried calling from two phones and messaged through their live support—no answer.
Eventually, I gave up and booked another hotel through a different platform, checked in with no issues. Hours later, Otelz.com finally picked up and canceled the original reservation. That’s it.
Just a month ago, I went through a similar crisis with another Otelz.com reservation. I emailed them, submitted complaints, and was told, “We’ll be in touch shortly.” It’s been a month, and no one has followed up.
I know nothing will come of this complaint either—but I’m still speaking up. Otelz.com, you need to stop making excuses and fix your broken payment system and nonexistent customer support. People’s time, money, and trust aren’t things you can treat this carelessly.
