I Face Unauthorized Charges From Zety.com After Canceling My Trial Subscription
I created a resume on Zety.com by paying a one-time trial fee of $2.70. After that, I immediately canceled my subscription, believing everything was resolved. However, when I checked my credit card statement this month, I was shocked to see that Zety had continued to charge my card without permission. In both October and November, they withdrew $23.70 each month, even though I never used the service again.
I only intended to use Zety once, as a trial, and did not consent to ongoing payments. I contacted their customer service multiple times, and they claimed to respond within two business days. Despite several emails, I have yet to receive any response.
I demand a full refund for the unauthorized charges and an immediate confirmation that my account has been permanently canceled. If I do not receive a response and a refund within one week, I will escalate this matter to consumer protection platforms and file formal complaints on every public channel possible.
Zety must stop these unauthorized withdrawals and take responsibility for misleading customers into recurring payments they never agreed to.
