Yapi Kredi Bank Charged Annual Card Fee Despite Salary Customer Exemption
I am a salary customer of Yapı Kredi and I have been using my credit card ending with 3452 for about 2–3 years. Although, according to the agreement as a salary customer, no annual fee should be charged, on 10.07.2026 an unfair card fee of ₺1,420 was deducted from my card. When I contacted your customer service regarding this issue, I was told that if I keep my card active for 6 months, 50% of the fee would be refunded and then “you would see” about the rest. As a salary customer whose card should already be exempt from annual fees, I find it unacceptable that I am asked to make such a commitment and that only half of the unlawfully collected fee is offered for refund. I request the full refund of the ₺1,420 card fee charged on 10.07.2026 to my credit card ending with 3452 and, in line with my status as a salary customer, that no such fee be charged to my card in the future.
