On 2 December, I deposited 10,000 TL at the Yapı Kredi branch ATM located at İkitelli OSB, Atatürk Blv. No: 50D, 34490 Başakşehir/İstanbul, using my own Yapı Kredi card. During the transaction, the money became stuck in the ATM. Although 10,000 TL appeared as the amount I intended to deposit in the system, only 9,200 TL was later credited to my account, leaving 800 TL missing.
Over the last six days, I have created multiple service requests and contacted both the branch and customer service numerous times. Each time, I was told that the investigation was completed, that the stuck amount was 9,200 TL, and that if I was not satisfied, I should take the matter to the prosecutor’s office. I find it unacceptable that a bank, despite seeing 10,000 TL as the transaction amount in the system, insists that only 9,200 TL was deposited and dismisses the customer by saying “go to the prosecutor”.
I request that the missing 800 TL be urgently credited to my account, along with a clear written explanation of how this discrepancy occurred, as well as an apology for the way I have been treated during this process.
