Akbank Holds My Deposit After ATM Error

On September 22, 2025, between 2:15 PM and 2:30 PM, I tried to deposit ₺3,200 using my Akbank debit card ending in 4241 at Yapı Kredi ATM number 107175 located on H***** Ö*** Street in the İstasyon neighborhood of Etimesgut, Ankara. The ATM accepted my cash but failed to complete the transaction. The screen displayed a message saying, “Your money has been withheld,” and the cash drawer did not reopen, leaving me unable to retrieve my money. After the incident, I was directed to the Yapı Kredi branch, where I was told that Akbank needed to submit an appeal. I then contacted both the Akbank branch and customer service several times, and the case was logged under notification number 8025088721. It has been about 20 days with no outcome. Two days ago, when I reached out to Akbank customer service again, they informed me that Yapı Kredi had still not responded and that the issue remained unresolved. I do not have a steady income, and this refund is financially important to me. I sincerely request that the process be accelerated, my money refunded promptly, and my situation properly resolved.
