On 10/15/2023, at 18:04:15, I withdrew 2000 TL from the Yapi Kredi Bank ATM located in Ada Center Mall in Sakarya, Erenler district, using a QR code. The money was dispensed from the ATM in a diagonal manner, and one banknote had a curled edge. Upon counting the money, I realized it was only 1800 TL. I promptly contacted customer service, reporting that the ATM failed to provide the full withdrawal amount, leaving me 200 TL short. The bank generated record number 13244788 and assured me that the situation would be investigated, with the missing money returned if found stuck in the ATM. On 10/16/2023, I received an SMS from the bank stating that they couldn't determine any money stuck in the ATM. In response, I immediately contacted Yapi Kredi customer service once more, explaining that there was indeed an issue as the ATM dispensed incomplete funds. I requested a resolution and urged them to review the situation using the camera records. A new record was created, number 13246756. However, on 10/17/2023, I received another SMS indicating that no money was stuck. It is not my responsibility to address the error of Yapi Kredi ATM or the bank. I feel like the victim in this situation. While I may not be familiar with the working principles of ATMs, when it claims there is no money stuck, it leaves me with no solution to my problem. I want to make it clear that I will escalate this matter to the Banking Association, and I insist that my missing money be promptly refunded to my account.
