Yapı Kredi World Card Canceled But Customer Credit Limit Not Reset

I canceled my Yapı Kredi World credit card via phone banking on January 13, 2026, and during the cancellation I explicitly requested both the closure of my card and the complete reset of my customer credit limit. While the card itself was canceled, my customer limit still remains active in the system and has neither been closed nor reduced. Each time I contact customer representatives, I am told that the system is giving an error, yet no action is taken to address the inconvenience caused by this technical issue. I was contacted again today and repeated the same request, but once more my customer limit was not reset, with the same system error cited as the reason. I currently have installment balances of approximately ₺27,000, and because my customer limit has not been closed, I am unable to increase my customer limit at another bank and cannot properly manage my financial planning. I do not accept that Yapı Kredi’s internal system problem is being used as a justification for failing to fulfill my request. Since my credit card has already been canceled, I demand that my customer credit limit be fully reset as soon as possible and that this situation be clearly and formally explained to me in writing.
