I recently discovered that an XM.com account was created using my personal information, including my ID number, without my knowledge or consent. The account was registered with an unknown email address and password, meaning I have no access to it.
I immediately reported this issue via email, but XM.com refused to help, insisting that I must contact them using the email linked to the account—which I obviously do not have access to! If I knew the email, I would reset the password myself!
XM.com, close this unauthorized account immediately! I will not be held responsible for any fraudulent or illegal activity conducted through it. Ignoring security concerns like this is completely unacceptable. Others, be cautious—your identity could be misused without your knowledge!
