Someone Opened a Wise Account Using My ID and Selfie Without Consent
A Wise account has been fraudulently opened using my ID and selfie—without my knowledge or consent. I did not authorize any registration, and what’s even more alarming is that my phone number and email were never verified during this process. I cannot understand how Wise allowed an account to be created without verifying the person’s contact details or receiving proper user consent.
This is a serious violation of my personal data and privacy. I demand that Wise immediately locate and close the unauthorized account, and confirm that no financial activity has been carried out under my name.
This situation is unacceptable. Wise must take urgent action to protect users from identity theft. I expect a prompt response and a detailed explanation of how this was allowed to happen. Contact me immediately and confirm that my personal information is secure and the account has been permanently shut down.
