Arçelik Toaster Keeps Malfunctioning and They Charge Excessive Repair Fees
The Arçelik toaster I bought has malfunctioned for the second time. In the first malfunction, the thermostat broke, and the section containing the power button and thermostat was completely replaced. At the time, I didn’t mind too much. However, the power on/off button broke again two years later. When I took it to the service center, they told me that the entire unit, including the thermostat, needed to be replaced again. They said they couldn't provide a warranty if only the button was replaced. It’s unacceptable that the same machine keeps malfunctioning, and they're charging excessive repair fees by doing more than just fixing the issue. I also reported the situation to Arçelik’s headquarters, but they offered no solution. I recommend you think twice before buying anything from Arçelik.
Arçelik used to be customer-friendly. Its image is now completely ruined. Instead of supporting customers, it comes up with ridiculous excuses.
