Inadequate After-Sales Support for Vestel Stand Mixer
I purchased a stand mixer from Vestel approximately 4 years ago. Recently, the device suddenly stopped working. I took it to the authorized service center, where I was informed that the faulty part could no longer be supplied and that the product could not be repaired. Instead, I was offered a paid replacement option, requiring me to pay ₺6,500 for a product worth ₺8,500. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience as a consumer. Companies are obligated to provide spare parts for their products for a certain period as part of after-sales support. However, Vestel has failed in this regard, leaving me with no option but to purchase a new product. In many other brands, when similar issues arise, consumers are offered free product replacements. It is disappointing that a well-established company like Vestel does not adhere to this standard practice, which has severely damaged my trust in the brand. The inability to provide spare parts for a product within its expected lifespan and service warranty is unacceptable. Therefore, I demand that my faulty product be repaired free of charge or replaced with a product of equivalent features at no cost. Otherwise, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board to seek my legal rights. I kindly request that you address this matter promptly.
