Wizz Air Charged Me €50 For Airport Check-In and Added Hidden Seat Fees

November 22, 2024 9:26 AM49

The business policies of Wizz Air are deliberately unclear and quite irritating. My family purchased flights well in advance, but the lack of clear fee policy was startling. We paid an unexpected €50 per person for airport check-in even though much of the booking process was done online. Not once in their communications or during the booking process was this made evident. Even simple seat assignments—randomly created by the system—needed an additional cost, which seemed arbitrary and pointless. These hidden fees caused a trip that was meant to be somewhat cheap to cost far more. Not flying with Wizz Air again; their lack of openness and communication leaves much to be desired.
