Wizz Air Canceled My İzmir–Bucharest Flights and Still Hasn’t Refunded
I booked round-trip flights with Wizz Air from İzmir to Bucharest for July 7–11, 2025, for two people. A while later, I received a notice that the airline had canceled both flights entirely. Since then, I’ve emailed them twice requesting a refund for the tickets—which were fully paid by credit card—but I haven’t received a single response. Not even an acknowledgment.
To make matters worse, Wizz Air doesn’t even have an office in Turkey, so there's no one to call or talk to in person. Their customer service is basically nonexistent. I feel completely ignored and cheated out of my money.
I deeply regret ever booking with Wizz Air. I trusted this company and now I’m stuck with no flights and no refund. I demand an immediate return of the ₺ I paid for these canceled flights. Wizz Air needs to start taking customer rights seriously—or people will stop trusting them altogether.
My refund was processed, albeit late.
