I Got a WhatsApp Message From an Unknown India Number and I Demand Protection
On March 21, 2025, I received a WhatsApp message from a number beginning with the +91 country code, which I confirmed belongs to India. I want to clearly state that I have no personal or professional ties to this country. This unexpected message made me feel extremely uncomfortable and alarmed.
Out of caution, I immediately blocked the number, but I am filing a formal complaint. I am deeply concerned about how my phone number was obtained and whether my account security is at risk.
If my WhatsApp account, private messages, photos, or any personal information are accessed, misused, or used in illegal or unauthorized activities—such as company registration, purchases, or debt in my name—I will not accept any responsibility. In such cases, WhatsApp will be fully liable for all consequences.
