I Received a Suspicious WhatsApp Message From an India Number Without Any Connection

I received a WhatsApp message from a number with the +91 country code, which I confirmed through online research belongs to India. I have absolutely no personal or business relationship with anyone from that country, so this message was unexpected and deeply unsettling.

Out of caution, I immediately blocked the number, but I am filing a formal complaint because I am seriously concerned about my privacy and data security.

If my WhatsApp account, phone number, private messages, or photos are used, stolen, or misused in any way—or if any fraudulent activity such as unauthorized purchases, debt creation, or company registration occurs in my name—I will not accept any responsibility. In such a case, I hold WhatsApp fully accountable.
