I recently had an unsettling experience at the Western Union branch located in GATA 1 business center on Turan Güneş Boulevard, Çankaya, Ankara. The employee there attempted to deduct €15 from my incoming money transfer, despite the sender having already paid the transfer fee.
The agent claimed that the money had depreciated in value and was delayed in arrival, insisting that I should cover their alleged loss. I was shocked and upset by this unprofessional behavior, as I've never encountered such a practice in all my years of using money transfer services.
This branch seems to be engaging in unethical practices, trying to extract fees from both the sender and the receiver. As a customer, I feel taken advantage of and disappointed in Western Union's service at this location.
