I’ve been trying to create a WeChat account on my Redmi device, but during the verification step, the app requires that a WeChat user who has had an account for over 6 months and meets certain criteria scan my QR code to verify me.
Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone who meets these requirements, so I’ve been stuck for weeks and can’t complete the registration. Every attempt leads to the same issue — I’m unable to move past the QR verification screen.
I’m requesting that WeChat provide an alternative or more accessible verification method for users who can’t find an eligible WeChat user to verify them. I live in Gaziantep, Turkey, and I would appreciate any assistance to help me finally open my account.
