WeChat Account Setup Cannot Be Completed Due To Mandatory QR Code Scan

For about a month, I have been trying to register for the WeChat app on my Redmi Note 8 Pro Android phone. I downloaded the app from the Play Store and I am using it in Türkiye. During the registration process, it constantly asks me to scan a QR code. However, since I don’t know anyone who uses WeChat, I cannot complete this step.

I also tried with different Wi-Fi connections and looked for someone who could help through social media groups and forums, but I couldn’t find anyone. I am stuck only at the QR code verification step — I have not encountered any payment requests or any other issues.

I request that an alternative solution be provided so I can register for WeChat without QR code verification, or that this verification step be removed.
