First, make sure your phone has a signal, can receive SMS, and that your number is entered correctly with the right country code if WeChat isn't sending verification codes.
To log in, try turning your phone off and on again, moving networks, or using a different device. If you're still not getting the code, try again in a few hours. Too many attempts may cause temporary blocks.
If you can't get a code at all, go to https://help.wechat.com/ and click on "Account Recovery" next to "Unable to Receive SMS." Put in your WeChat ID, phone number, and information about the problem on the form.
You might also need a trusted WeChat friend who has been active for at least six months to help you log in. This can be done through WeChat Team > Account > "Help Friend Log In."
Talk to Tencent help if the problem keeps happening. Call 0755-8376-9000 from China. If you're from outside of the US, use the Help Center or the comments in the app.
If the issue persists, share your experience and consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to seek a resolution.
