WeChat Registration Problem on Android — No One to Scan QR Code

I’ve been trying to create a new WeChat account on my Android phone for the past week, but during the registration process, the app requires me to scan a QR code from an existing WeChat user.

Since no one around me uses WeChat, I can’t complete this step, and my registration is stuck on the QR code verification screen. There’s no error code or additional message, and the process simply doesn’t move forward.

I’ve already emailed WeChat support twice, but I haven’t received any response. I live in Gaziantep, Turkey, and I just want to be able to create my account without needing another user to scan my code.

No payments or extra information were requested during signup — I simply can’t pass the QR scan step. I’m asking WeChat to offer an alternative verification method or remove this unnecessary restriction so I can finally open my account.
