On December 11, 2023, I scheduled an appointment and left my car at Doğuş Oto, the authorized service for Volkswagen in Esenyurt. My complaint was about a strange noise when turning the steering wheel. They identified a problem with the left wheel axle head, suggesting a replacement would solve it. On the same day, an additional repair was proposed, I approved it, and I received my car on December 14, 2023.
However, I noticed a new noise when going over speed bumps that wasn't there before. Hoping it would fade with time, I dismissed it. Yet, the noise persisted and even intensified. I reported it to the authorized service, and they assured me it was likely due to insufficient lubrication. After another round of lubrication, they guaranteed the problem was fixed. Unfortunately, the noise returned over time.
Now, I'm at a loss. I sought help from the authorized service, had all maintenance done there, and still, the problem persists. What's my fault in all this? Trusting the experienced staff of the authorized service? I don't want to take my car to an independent service. I'm facing losses in my job as I must constantly leave and pick up my car. Even if I leave it, the issue isn't resolved. Frankly, I've grown disillusioned with the entire car ownership experience. I demand my car be taken back, and my grievances be addressed.
