On October 15, 2025, I purchased a VW Polo 1.0 TSI in Ascot Gray, sold in Turkey, for $37,145 from Başaran Otomotiv Volkswagen Antalya, an authorized dealer of Doğuş Otomotiv.
Just a few weeks later, I learned that the same vehicle was offered as part of a December campaign, and as of December 4, 2025, it was being sold for $34,155. Moreover, the vehicle offered at $34,155 included additional advantages compared to my car, such as two extra speakers.
Despite there being no scrap incentive, trade-in, financing, or any special conditions or discounts, such a significant price difference occurring within such a short period of time was extremely disappointing. I reported the situation to both Başaran Otomotiv and Doğuş Otomotiv, but no solution was offered to me.
Because I purchased the vehicle shortly before the campaign at a higher price, I request a refund of the price difference of $2,990. I ask that my grievance be resolved and that the difference between the amount I paid and the campaign price be reimbursed to me.
I would also like to clearly state in advance that offers such as free service packages or extended warranty periods will not be acceptable as a substitute for a refund.
