I purchased a Volkswagen ID4 Pro from Ankara Doğuş Oto, invoiced on 27.06.2025 and delivered on 09.07.2025. One of the key promises during the sale was that a wallbox charging unit would be included as a gift. Based on this assurance, I finalized my decision and completed the purchase. However, when the delivery day arrived, I was suddenly told that the wallbox would not be provided. After some back-and-forth, the staff initially confirmed it was included, only to later reverse their position and definitively state that it wouldn’t be given to me.
I contacted Doğuş customer relations, and their explanation was equally disappointing. They claimed they had no wallboxes in stock and that by accepting the car, I had also accepted the situation. To make things worse, they condescendingly told me I was “lucky” since the price of the vehicle had gone up after my purchase. That kind of dismissive attitude made the situation even more frustrating.
I had also visited ARCA for a test drive of the same model, and their promotion included the same wallbox gift. The only reason I chose Doğuş Oto instead was because they had the exact color I wanted. Now, I deeply regret that decision.
Volkswagen and Doğuş Oto, I demand that the wallbox charger promised to me at the time of sale be delivered without delay. I also expect a more transparent, respectful, and customer-focused approach moving forward. Keeping promises is not optional — it’s part of doing honest business. I paid a premium (₺), and I expect you to honor your commitment.
