My Vivo Y19s Freezes and Keyboard Closes Randomly While Typing
I bought a Vivo Y19s from Media Markt Metrogarden, and I’ve been having serious usability issues ever since. The touchscreen randomly freezes, especially while typing messages, and the keyboard often closes on its own. This makes texting or typing anything an absolute nightmare. It’s unpredictable, frustrating, and not what I expected from a brand-new phone.
When I went to the store to have it sent in for repair, the Media Markt Metrogarden employee, Mr. S***, treated my complaint dismissively. Instead of taking the issue seriously, he jokingly suggested that the problem might be due to “gesture navigation” being too advanced for the device’s speed—insinuating the phone is naturally slow. He claimed gesture navigation works better on other brands like i*** and changed the settings back to 3-button navigation, as if that would magically fix the issue.
Then he told me the repair would take around 20 days and asked if I had a backup phone—as if this was all just normal. He showed no real interest in solving the problem and made me feel like I was being brushed off. The issue still persists, and nothing they did helped.
