VFS Global Non-refundable Application Fee

I contacted VFS Global's customer service about visa procedures on August 22, 2022. I live and work in Istanbul, and I wanted to apply for my visa in the same city, but the customer service representative told me that because my residence is in another city, I had to apply in Ankara instead. On November 11, 2022, I went to the VFS Global branch in Ankara as instructed, only to be told that my application would have to be made in Istanbul after all. The misinformation and confusion cost me 40 euros in appointment, flight, and lodging expenses. To make matters worse, despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to contact their customer service by phone or email. VFS Global's lack of professionalism and poor customer service has left me frustrated and exploited. I will never be able to recoup the time and money I lost as a result of their errors, but I demand that they at the very least cover my expenses. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would caution others against doing business with them.
