I'm writing to tell you about my experience with the online platform from VFS Global. Even though I put my address as Antalya, I was still able to choose Istanbul. They took 858 TL in advance on April 30, 2023, but they didn't do anything for me. Instead, they set up an appointment for me to get a France visa at the VFS Global office in Istanbul on June 1, 2023. I bought non-refundable plane tickets because I thought the meeting would happen. Later, when I found out that the Istanbul area couldn't handle my appointment and the online cancellation process didn't work (the option to cancel doesn't work), I asked for a refund from both VFS Global and Gateway VFS, who took my money on May 3rd and 4th, respectively. It is considered unjust enrichment to charge for services that were not done. I kindly ask that my card be refunded right away and that the appointment be canceled. I also want to let you know that if I have to, I will fight for my legal rights to the fullest extent, but I won't ask for more money for damages.
