Delay in Dutch Visa Application from Ankara VFS Global

On July 12th, my family and I applied for a visa to the Netherlands at Ankara VFS Global. Today marks the 21st business day, and we have yet to receive any response—no email, message, or update. We are working individuals who plan our leave and vacations accordingly. While we understand there may be high demand, others who applied after us have received their visas, while we have not. If our application is to be denied, please inform us, as this lack of communication is causing significant distress. We have had to reschedule our flights three times. Is this fair? What is going on?
