I Bought a Vestel Dishwasher but It Was Never Installed or Replaced
This is Mustafa T***, a Turkish Citizen. I purchased a set of white appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, and refrigerator) from the Vestel authorized dealer in Ayvalık, Turkey in August 2024. With this letter, I want to bring to your attention the serious grievance I have experienced and request an urgent solution. Problems Experienced 1. Damaged Product Delivery: The dishwasher I purchased was delivered damaged when it was first unpacked and was returned. This was the first problem experienced with the delivery. 2. Second Delivery and Incomplete Installation: A few weeks later, the new dishwasher was delivered. During the installation of the fully built-in machine, service technicians stated there were insufficient screws to mount the front panel and left the installation incomplete. The service team abandoned the job, saying 'we will come tomorrow.' 3. Fake Appointment Cancellation: The next day, while waiting at home for the appointment, I received a message in the evening stating 'the appointment was canceled at my request,' although I had made no such cancellation request. I had been waiting at home all day for the appointment. The service canceled the appointment without my consent or knowledge. 4. Misleading Records and False Completion Information: When I went back to Ayvalık last week and contacted your service and store to request completion of the installation, I learned that your company's records showed the installation as 'completed.' This information is completely false. The installation was never completed, never approved by me, and never signed off. 5. Defective Product Identification: During the most recent visit (the week before May 5, 2025), your service technician determined that the machine was not working at all and that its main circuit board was defective. State of Grievance The dishwasher, which I paid for in full in August 2024, approximately 9 months ago, has not been used even once to this day. This situation has caused: Financial damage Loss of time Psychological wear Decline in my daily living standards Complete loss of trust in your company. My Legal Rights and Demands In accordance with the relevant articles of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, I request that one of the following demands be fulfilled immediately: Replacement of the dishwasher with a new one (preferably a higher model) without any additional charge OR Refund of the amount I paid along with legal interest.

I was called by the Vestel Ayvalık Service and the Manisa Customer Complaints department and was informed that my machine would be replaced. However, I was told that I would have to wait a while since the same machine is currently not in stock, and I agreed. Now I am waiting for my machine.
