Vestel Dishwasher Ruined By Unsafe Service And False Signature After Warranty
After my Vestel BM 818-W dishwasher malfunctioned once the warranty expired, I called Vestel service on 19.11.2025, and a technician visited my home on 22.11.2025 because the machine was tripping the residual-current breaker. The technician taped over the grounding pin of the plug, ran the machine while taped, opened it twice, changed a torn variable-speed hose, ignored my suggestion to fully dry the wet electrical parts, and continued operating it with the grounding disabled, which caused electrical noises, a burning smell, and left the machine completely unusable. I was charged ₺600 for this and asked to pay an additional ₺4,500, even though the machine had only been tripping the breaker before the intervention and was fully destroyed afterward. I reported to Vestel that the machine failed due to the faulty and unsafe service, demanded free repair, and discovered that the service form contained false information and a forged signature. I now request a full investigation into the service provider and want my dishwasher repaired completely at no extra cost or an alternative solution that compensates my loss.
