On September 6th, the glass of my electric stove, which I bought as a set from Vestel, broke for a reason I still don't understand and cracked all the way across to the other parts. I noticed the damage after hearing cracking sounds while wiping it down—there were stains that wouldn’t come off no matter what I did. How can the glass be this fragile? And if the damage was caused by heat, how can it be so weak against heat, especially when I don’t even use the small burner regularly? When I called customer service, they said the breakage wasn’t covered by the warranty and that if the damage was my fault, I would need to pay a service fee of ₺600. I find this completely unacceptable and plan to share my complaint on every possible platform and social media account. Either replace my stove or refund my money. I can’t use the stove at all in its current condition—it’s dangerous!
