My package with tracking number 1Z892ER96804172426 was marked as undeliverable because UPS claimed I was not home. However, they never called or attempted to reach me, instead just sending a message stating the package wouldn’t be delivered.
I contacted customer service within 20 minutes, hoping they could resolve the issue quickly. I spoke with H****, who refused to provide their last name, citing “security reasons.” Interestingly, UPS has no issue asking customers for full names, yet their representatives won’t share theirs.
I politely asked if my package could be left at my door, given that only a short time had passed, but instead of helping, the agent just repeated scripted company policies without offering a real solution. I’ve used at least 10 different shipping companies, and none have handled deliveries this poorly. Other companies at least try to reach the recipient, but UPS simply claims they couldn’t deliver and refuses to try again the same day.
From now on, I will avoid shopping with any company that uses UPS for shipping. UPS, fix your delivery process and customer service—this is unacceptable!
