False Age Verification - Umingle

I recently attempted to complete an age verification process on Umingle even though I am 20 years old and used my valid state ID. I followed the instructions exactly as given: the age verification barcode was on my computer screen, I scanned it with my phone, and I went to the website and completed the verification there. Despite this, my age verification was denied within a couple of minutes. I believe the denial is unfair and incorrect. I suspect the issue may be that my little brother’s face briefly appeared in the camera frame without my knowledge while I was not present, but I clearly provided my own valid ID and I am of legal age.
