Turkish Airlines System Error Burned My $1000 Ticket
I purchased a round-trip ticket to America for two people from Turkish Airlines, paying double the price for free changes. While checking random dates to see if changes could be made for the return ticket with reservation number VG3VL8, the system unexpectedly confirmed the change without showing the usual final confirmation page that asks for acceptance of a ₺0.00 fee. Despite not having a set date, the change was made by mistake. I immediately contacted customer service, who forwarded my issue to another department. After two discussions, they refused to honor my request and burned my $1000 entitlement. They could have easily corrected this error but chose not to for $1000. As a billion-dollar company, you are more interested in profiting from customer inconvenience than ensuring satisfaction. You took the hard-earned money we saved due to your system's malfunction. Despite contacting you immediately to rectify the issue, you offered no assistance. Not surprising at all!
