Turkish Airlines Lost My Baggage on Domestic Flight
On April 15th (yesterday), I flew from Izmir to Sinop with a layover in Istanbul. When I arrived in Sinop, my baggage was missing. The airport created a lost item report. I checked with the tracking number, and it still shows as being searched for. I am astonished; this isn't even an international flight. Can baggage get lost and not be found on a domestic flight too? The baggage tag with the passenger's name is attached when the baggage is handed over; how can it still not be found?! There is only one flight to Sinop per day. Another day has passed, and still no answer. All my belongings are in my baggage, including my phone charger. I want my baggage delivered immediately. Since yesterday, three lost baggage complaints have been posted on Sikayetvar. Are we supposed to buy tickets from THY with the worry of losing our baggage? This is unacceptable!
